What motivated you to enroll in the NPCA Master Precaster program?

I have been with EZ-CRETE for over 3 years, I’m currently a Shift Leader on the production team and wanted to learn more about the precast trade.

How would you describe your overall experience with the program?

The people running the program were very insightful, at times the content was kind of repetitive.

What aspects of the program did you find most interesting or impactful?

I found the in-person classes to be the most impactful and I enjoyed the Leadership class the most overall.

Were there any unexpected challenges you faced during the program? If so, how did you overcome them?

PQS 3 was very challenging for me but my coworkers helped me get a better understanding of the material in the class.

How do you feel the program has improved your technical knowledge of precast concrete production?

Becoming a Master Precaster has helped me understand not just how precast concrete is made but how precast concrete works on a deeper level.

Did the program give you a new perspective on quality control, safety, or efficiency in our production processes? If yes, how?

Since becoming a Master Precaster I’ve thought a lot about the “why” behind the importance of consistency within our production processes for all of the products we make.

What long-term impact do you expect this training will have on your career growth and contributions to EZ-CRETE?

Completing the Master Precaster program has provided me with a strong foundation. I intend to continue expanding my expertise, applying what I’ve learned to enhance our products and processes, and contributing to the company’s growth as a leader in the precast concrete industry.

Do you have any suggestions for how EZ-CRETE can support future team members going through this program?

I think it’s important to make sure the employees actually have the intent to use the information they learn and support them in applying their new knowledge practically.

What excites you most about EZ-CRETE’s mission and products?

I love being a part of a growing company. My favorite part of the production process is collaborating with a team that thrives on critical thinking and problem-solving.

Can you describe a moment when you felt really proud of your work?

I felt really proud when I was tasked with making a complicated rebar cage with no real directions and successfully executed the job!

What’s something your coworkers might now know about you?

I relate to a lot of people around me and the things they struggle with. I try and support them to overcome their problems.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I would stay in NH, I love the peace and quiet.

What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work? When you’re not at the plant, where could we find you and what would you be doing?

You would find me modifying my vehicles, taking care of my fish tanks, or playing any real power sport.
