What’s your favorite part about being a Manufacturer Rep at EZ-CRETE?

Meeting customers and solving real world problems for them.

What excites you most about EZ-CRETE’s mission and products?

The incredibly positive feedback that we get from our customers. I constantly get distributors and end users that tell us how great the products are and how much time they saved by using them

What’s one customer win or memorable sale that really stuck with you?

Faith Technologies in Green Bay, WI. Their project manager told us that they finished their project 50% faster than anticipated by using our precast concrete light pole bases.

What’s the weirdest or most unexpected question a customer has ever asked you?

I had a customer ask if they could use the EZ-TUBE footing as a base for his outdoor telescope!

Is there a common myth about precast concrete that you love to bust?

That it’s too expensive or more expensive than pouring on site. We hear from contractors all the time that when they factor in materials, extra labor, and time on site, they actually come out ahead when they use our precast concrete products.

What’s something new you’ve learned about the industry this year?

I’ve learned that there’s an almost unlimited amount of opportunity out there for our products. People don’t like pouring concrete unless they absolutely have to. If we can lift it, we can build it and save people a ton of time, labor, and money in the process.

What’s one product you think more people need to know about?

Bollards. They’re very labor intensive to pour and replace on site so when they get damaged, they get left that way. With our precast options, industrial and commercial sites can protect sensitive equipment without worrying about excess labor.

If you could swap jobs with anyone at EZ-CRETE for a day, who would it be and why?

Cathi or Al. I love solving problems for customers and a big part of that is making our production capacity greater, more efficient, and developing new products and processes.

What’s the most “you” thing someone would find at your desk or in your car?

A little plush peanut doll that reminds me of my son. I got it when my wife told me we were pregnant because we called him our little peanut

What motivates you to get out there every day and connect with customers?

Knowing that I can positively impact someone’s business with EZ-CRETE’s products.

What’s one thing you love about the EZ-CRETE team?

How dedicated the entire team is to quality and ensuring our customers are taken care of.

What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?

I’ve got a killer chocolate chip cookie recipe.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received that guides your work today?

Take one thing at a time. Focus on what you’re doing and do it to the best of your ability.

When you're not out there slinging CRETE what do you enjoy doing? Where could we find you, and what would you be up to on an off-day?

Spending time with my family, golfing, or working on projects around the house.
