What’s your favorite part about being a Manufacturer Rep at EZ-CRETE?

My favorite part is meeting new people, building relationships, and helping EZ-CRETE build a national presence in the precast industry.

What excites you most about EZ-CRETE’s mission and products?

What excites me most is the positive impact our products have on our customers’ businesses, seeing how our precast solutions solve real-world challenges while saving them both time and money.

What’s one customer win or memorable sale that really stuck with you?

Oishii Light Pole Base project. Our quote came in much higher and they said no thank you. I asked how we can win their business, we did a deep dive and realized they were using them as counter weights. We could eliminate certain things in the base which brought down the price and allowed us to win the bid.

Is there a common myth about precast concrete that you love to bust?

I often hear that precast concrete is more expensive, however when they take into consideration the faster construction time and economy of scale it can be a no brainer.

What’s something new you’ve learned about the industry this year?

I thought there was a large number of national precast companies when in fact there are many regional players that make up the industry across the country. 

What’s one product you think more people need to know about?

The one product people need to know more about are our light pole bases. When I speak to contractors for the first time they often say, if these light pole bases work I’ll never pour another one.

If you could swap jobs with anyone at EZ-CRETE for a day, who would it be and why?

I would swap jobs with Brice and the Custom Projects Team to be able to prepare and pour one of the projects I’ve sold. I believe it would be really rewarding to work on a project from start to finish.

What’s the most “you” thing someone would find at your desk or in your car?

The most you thing someone would find at my desk is an old school notepad. I like to write my To Do List down each day and everything else that I have to get done before my workday ends.

What motivates you to get out there every day and connect with customers?

I believe my love of helping people and solving problems motivates me, but I also really like the challenge of helping the company grow to new heights

What’s one thing you love about the EZ-CRETE team?

I love the fact that we have each others backs. I’ve been here since April and everyone has made me feel right at home.

What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?

Most people are surprised to learn I was born in Jamaica because I have no accent at all. They would also be surprised to know that lacrosse was my favorite sport growing up.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received that guides your work today?

My dad told me to cultivate a strong work ethic. Do what I say I’m gonna do, stay productive, and show up ready to work.

When you're not out there selling EZ-CRETE products what do you enjoy doing? Where could we find you, and what would you be up to on an off-day?

You’ll most likely find me in the yard with my family—having a catch with the lacrosse stick, kicking a soccer ball around, or playing a little volleyball. My goal is to enjoy as much time as I can with my girls before they’re fully grown and off on their own.
