What began as a dream to bring more shade to McClelland Elementary’s beloved playground is now a fully realized space for learning, gathering, and growth. After months of hard work, collaboration, and generosity, the new outdoor classroom is complete—and will officially open to students, staff, and families in the coming weeks.
This project represents more than just a structure—it’s the result of an incredible community coming together with a shared vision. Local businesses, families, tradespeople, and the dedicated PTA pooled their time, talent, and resources to make this shaded retreat a reality. From fundraising efforts to material donations and hands-on labor, every piece of this project reflects the heart and commitment of those who call this community home.
